Just like you can choose clothes that work best for your body type, you can find a swimsuit that works for you too.

Small Chest

If you’re looking for something to make it look like your chest is larger, a suit with ruffles on top is a good way to make it look like you’ve got more than you do! You can also find suits with padding to give you a little extra and a lift too.

Big Chest

If you have a larger chest, it can be tricky to find a swimsuit that fits well. String bikinis and halters are not the best options for you. Instead, look for something with underwire, thicker straps, or double-stitched bands to keep everything where it’s supposed to.

Junk in the Trunk

If you’ve got a little extra junk in your trunk and want to cover up, focus on solid bottoms, boy shorts, or high-waisted, full-coverage bottoms. High-cut swimsuits and string bikinis aren’t the best options here.

Thick Thighs

If you want to flatter your fuller thighs, full-coverage bottoms or boy shorts are good options. Swimsuits with skirts are more and more popular too, and they can camouflage those trouble spots you’d like to hide.

A Little Extra Around the Middle

If you want to hide a little extra around your middle, it’s actually easier than you’d think. Skip the string bikinis and go for high-waisted bottoms, a suit with peplum, or a one-piece with flattering ruching. Lots of swimsuit companies offer suits with tummy-hiding technology as well.

Short Legs

High-cut suits are a great choice to elongate shorter legs. You’re showing more skin, so your legs appear longer. If you really want to get daring, opt for a thong to show even more skin and making your legs appear even longer.

If you don’t want to rock a two-piece while pregnant, a tankini is a great option. It will give you plenty of room for your growing bump and makes all those trips to the bathroom easy! It will also provide protection for your belly and it’s sensitive skin.

Maximum Sun Protection

If you burn easily or just want to protect as much skin as possible from the sun, consider a swimsuit with built-in sun protection or a rashguard. Long-sleeved rash guards come in a ton of colors and prints to match any swim bottoms. You can be stylish while still protecting yourself from the sun.
