1. Tevas

Yup, that’s what we said: Teva. And yes, these are those outdoor hiking sandals you refused to buy because either they looked too ugly or there was no way you were doing that trek up the mountain no how. You were going to sit in the cafe in your flirty dress and Louboutins while your friends sweat.

Now, you can put on that same flirty dress, sit in the cafe, never hike, and look amazingly hip while also wearing Tevas and cute socks or no socks at all. Because Tevas are so in!

Just look around any fashionista-filled metropolitan or look at photos from runways and front rows of Fashion Week. Most are the classic look but Teva also added some flirty fun to new models. Think rainbow colors and platform soles. Think fluffy white-feather adornments.

2. Anna Sui Tevas

Fashion designers are smart people. They see the trend. They pounce.

Luckily, this year, if they themselves are wearing the hippest of sandals, they will easily be able to pounce because they’ll be in comfy sandals. We’re guessing that’s what happened with designer Anna Sui when she teamed up with Teva to slam some of her glam onto their footgear.

We love the flowery fabric with the bold red straps on the Teva X Anna Sui Indio Jewell Sandal. So cute! Not to mention the bold colors on the platform soles.

We also have our eye on the Teva X Anna Sui Flatform Universal Sanda with the cute, flowery strap embroidery and the green-and-black-striped platform soles. And you should keep your eyes open for other fun, bright, popping colors like peacock blue on platformed soles.

3. Opening Ceremony Tevas

Opening Ceremony also collaborated with Teva to make some comfortable sandals for women that are on top of our list. Think Tevas at the country club with an elegant-outdoors, modern-minimalist aesthetic.

We love the classic white platform design. Also great is the all-black style but with thinner straps to give it that extra panache. Pair these with a pair of solid slacks and a posh classic belt bag, on the bottom of your outfit is set.

What about the top? A nice flowery blouse and huge hoops just might do the trick.

4. Suicoke Slides and Slingbacks

This designer made some playful strappy slides and slingbacks with Cecilie Bahnsen a Danish designer. The sassy slip-ons graced Bahnsen’s runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week in black, taupe, and grey.

Some have crisscross ties and others have Velcro straps. We particularly love the multiblock-blue slides with a pop-of-tangerine-orange tie.

The strapped slingbacks resemble platformed Tevas with their own splash. Our favorite is the one with black and white checkers on the straps.

5. Dr. Martens Partilla Platform Sandals

Quite unexpected for the Doc, these comfortable sandals get very feminine up top with thin, white, wrap-around ties up the leg a la Greco-Roman goddess. The sole is rubber and a platform but looks stylish in all black against the white upper, also quite goddess.

Pair these with a simple breezy dress in white or other solid and drop earrings and you’re set to step off the yacht and into an all-nighter at the Acropolis with lots of dancing and happy feet.

6. J.W. Anderson Open Ballerina Flat Slides

Think satin ballet slipper ties here but super elegant in all black coming up from an easy black, flat, closed-toe slide in soft, pliable black leather. Yes, this one is like walking in house slippers that you could wear to the Met Ball.

7. Gucci Leather and Mesh Color-Pop Sandals

We love this hybrid sandal-sneaker. It’s bright. It’s fun. It looks adorbs with hot pink tights and a jeans dress or flowery deal.

Think chunky white sole, beige mesh upper and slingback strap, and hot pink rubber nose. You can walk far and freely in these. In fact, you could probably run.

Ideal for sprinting to flash sales or after ice-cream trucks.

8. Gucci Crystal Leather Mesh Sandals

Another gaudy museum-worthy sandal ideal for fashionistas flaunting the sneaker-sandal trend. They’re white with gold bling.

Wear with skirts, dresses, and cute colorful socks or stockings. Enjoy all the super fun options here. Enjoy moving and shaking all over town with nary a blister in sight.

9. Topshop Hampton Sandals

These cute little numbers boast red-leather crisscross uppers with a red-wrap buckle ankle strap. We can’t wait to wear these with jeans or white slacks as they really dress it all up in a comfy, classy, goddess way.

The soles are flat and black. Great for dressing it up a tad bit more than the outdoorsy sandals. Also, nice if you want to show off that cute color you have on your toes.

10. River Island Red Espadrille Peep Toes

These slide sandals (no back strap) fit wide for extra comfort and boast a bright orange canvas upper. You can walk for ages in these but since they don’t have that back strap, they’re more for the slow, mosey walk that goes all day.

Peep your cute polished toes out of these too. They’re calling summer by name and the ocean breeze and those warm-weather cocktails. We’re thinking Mojitos. Ships ahoy, goddesses.
